What to Write When You Feel Overwhelmed
Sunward Path
Sunward Path
Overwhelm can make language disappear.
You may know that something feels too heavy, too fast, or too full, but not know how to translate that into a sentence.
Start smaller than you think you need to.
Use this page structure
Write these headings and keep your answers brief:
What feels like too much?
Name the pressure without editing it.
What is actually urgent?
Separate the immediate from the noisy.
What can be done later?
Give yourself visible permission to postpone something.
What would support me in the next hour?
Think tiny: water, a walk, one email, a meal, silence, or asking for help.
A grounding sentence
If nothing else comes out, write:
I do not need to carry all of this at once.
That sentence may not solve the day, but it can create enough space for the next step.
